I went to Madrid to see the Joaquin Sorolla show, one of the most inspiring events Ive seen in my life. To see the enormous body of work he did, and the huge pleine air paintings he made was breathtaking. Unfortunately the guards where quicker than roaches in a drain when I tried to sneak my camera in to take some shots, so no dice. However, at his studio, I was free to take as many pics as I could, so here are a few.
